Yer Maw Brewing is a fledgling Brewery in the West of Scotland, with a rebellious, humourous and street ethos. While far from complete, the website is being designed with the humour from the name, and a graffiti, street design to match their concept – that beer and brewing should be fun. The designs we’ve been working with them to create are grungy, neon and very fresh.
Our resident graphic designer, Fred, has been responsible for graphic design for the Isle of Arran Brewery for the last 8 years, not only designing their bottle labels and pumpclips, but also doing design work for their print adverts and their website. During this time, traditional designs for their main product range were developed and brought to market, but also more modern, striking designs for their experimental brands such as Brewery Dug and Id. The design for Brewery Dug came second in the Glasgow Heralds ranking of Best Beer Labels in Scotland.
Devils Dyke Brewery
Devils Dyke Brewery is a Cambridgeshire based brewery owned by the same group as The Isle of Arran Brewery, named after a geological feature near the brewery itself. The name obviously has more occult connotations, and the design follows the name and local legend.
Catherine Hamilton Hats & Fascinators
As part of a revamp of her site, we ran through a few options with Catherine based on American 1950’s style retro designs. Catherine asked for a slight modification of one of the designs shown here, which she is now using to reinforce the branding on her website.
Wine Lists
We have been asked to produce a few specialised lists that reflect the personality of a restaurant, help them sell more wine or really show off the extent of the range they have on offer. We created maps that were integrated into the list, corresponding to the wines available.
